EPIPHANY E-STAR – MARCH 7, 2024 The third Lenten Soup Supper was held on Wednesday, March 6, our third Lenten Soup Supper was held. A lot of great discussions around Salvation and Grace from Chapter 15 in the book, “Walk In Love.”
We also had delicious soups prepared by Sherry Musgrove, Diane Hays, Deana Geuther, and Cranz Nichols. We ended the evening a few minutes before 7:00 with the brief service "In the Early Evening" from "Daily Devotions for Individuals and Families" (page 139) in the Book of Common Prayer. We would love to have you join us at 5:30 this coming Wednesday, March 13th. We will discuss Holy Scripture, using Chapter 16, Prayers from “Walk in Love” as our guide.
PREPARATIONS FOR NAVE RENOVATIONS: More Progress! The Junior Warden heartily thanks the following folks for their hard work over the last several days clearing the Nursery and Choir Rooms: Deana, Linda D., Sandy, Rufus, Margie, Rachel, Carol, Karen, Lee, Sherry, Linda M, Mary, and Nancy. Most of the items ended up in Classroom A and St. Anne's Room. A major effort done efficiently and carefully. Again, an impressive accomplishment. Thanks!
Reminder from Deana Geuther: Georgie Nolan is currently serving as the trainer for “Safeguarding God’s People” at Epiphany. She will be retiring at the end of this year. With that in mind, we will need to find someone in the congregation that can take over as the trainer. Georgie will no doubt help with the training and curriculum involved. If you are interested, please get in touch with Janet Wilton (Parish Administrator) at the church office, 512-756-2334 or by email: [email protected].
