This heat continues… Seems like summer will never end. I try to think about that first cool/cold breeze out of the north with the first real cold front. A distant memory… But while this endless heat is here, we need to remember to stay vigilant about the potential for grass fires and wildfires. Also, to remember about water restrictions in your area. Hopefully this heat dome won’t be here much longer!
Renovations are continuing. Parish Hall kitchen cabinets were removed on Wednesday, August 9. The new cabinets are to be installed on Thursday, August 10. Fingers crossed that this occurs as planned!
We have awarded the painting contract for the Youth Center to Fresh Coat Painting. Scheduling is in progress.
By the end of next week, the restoration committee should have two estimates from commercial vendors to clean the ductwork in the Nave.
We will keep everyone updated as we complete the majority of renovations of the Parish Hall by Labor Day.
