It was wonderful to have Bishop Doyle with us last Sunday. If you weren't able to attend via Zoom, please check your email. Rufus sent a copy of the sermon to everyone who has an email address. Additionally, remember that all monies collected that are marked for Bishop Doyle's Discretionary fund will be sent to him after the May 15 service. You may send your checks now or when we regather. Please indicate ion the memo line that it's for the Bishop’s Discretionary Fund.
The excitement about regathering on May 15 continues to grow. Things are being spruced up around the church. Cecile Gloier and Diane Hays cleaned up the dead flowers, etc around the fountain. Cecile cleared everything out and Diane bagged it. A picture is attached so that you can see the wonderful job they did. Thank you ladies.
Jim Curran has been discharged from the post-acute rehab center at Seton Williamson Co. and has been moved to Granite Mesa in Marble Falls for extended rehab from the stroke.
There are still a few copies of Day by Day booklets for May - July left in the church office. The cost is $1.00 each.
Attendance for Sunday, April 25: 49
Collection: Pledges were $1,450. Total Pledges YTD are $34,695.53 which represents
35.94% of the confirmed Pledges of $96,540 for 2021.
Other: $75.00 for Bishop Doyle's Discretionary Fund.
TOTAL COLLECTION: $1,525.00
From Treasurer, Diane Hays & Sr. Warden, Linda Myers:
Financial recap: Our annual pledges total $96,540, or $8,045 monthly.
Using $8,045 per month times 4 (Jan-Feb-Mar-Apr) our budget told us we should receive $32,180 by end of April.
Yahoo! Total pledges received $34,695.53. Another way to view: $2,515.53 ahead of budget at this time.
This gives us a positive first quarter for 2021! Considering that this was during the COVID-19 pandemic it is quite remarkable and we are truly grateful. Do keep in mind that we are soon entering the Summer months and that is a historically difficult time for all churches (including Epiphany). We will continue to keep you updated on the budget status.
God’s blessings for all.
Diane Hays & Linda Myers
Rachel Bryson and Ryan Guthrie are scheduled to read the lessons and prayers on Sunday, May 2.
Happy Birthday To: Mark Milanovich (5/2), Jo Rose (5/5) and Cesar Arreaza (5/8)
Peace and Blessings
Dianne Williams
